Samsung A130 Announced in South Korea

Samsung has officially announced the Samsung A130 for the South Korean markets, it is clamshell handset and I believe it is not going to exploit the other markets.

The Samsung A130 is a Fixed Mobile Convergence Device (FMC) and it will be sold via both major Korean operator’s SKT and KT. This handset will include WiFi and 3G connectivity, 2-megapixel camera, 2.4-inch QVGA display, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. Additional to this the phone will feature pre-installed apps like a web browser, media player, dictionary, SOS function and the phonebook can hold up to 3,000 contacts.

This would basically be a cheap entry-level phone which will enable WiFi and 3G access to the low end users of South Korea.
