Which Netbook’s Top the Hackintosh Lists Today?

Remember back when Netbook’s first came out and Hackintosh was all the rage? Back then the Dell Mini 9 and Mini 10 at the time were absolute stars, but also Eee PC 1201NL 1005HAB and delivered perfect compatibility, meaning WiFi, Ethernet, Bluetooth and sleep all worked like a charm. And what about today? Which netbooks top the Hackintosh charts?

The issue today with Hackintosh is since Intel launched the Pinetrail platform which moved from the GMA950 GPU to the GMA3150 and the limited version the GMA3100 there seemed to be issues to put things lightly. My Mac Netbook breaks down the compatibility of Hackintosh Netbooks and they have a great chart that breaks things down for you here.

What we can hope for is that Cedar Trail’s launch in September will be more Hackintosh freidly because the Pinetrail platform dampened a very robust community of hackers! If you’re looking to Hackintosh something relatively new my pick of the litter is the Alienware M11x. What about you? Check out the compatibility list here and let me know what tops your pick for Hackintoshing a Netbook.
